The Show
One hundred years ago Mark Twain was the most popular speaker and entertainer in the world. He
traveled the world packing theaters and town halls wherever he went. Today audiences can still enjoy the
wit and wisdom of Mark Twain in Heritage Stage Production’s Mark Twain HIMSELF. Coming from
Hannibal, Missouri’s Planters Barn Theater, this very entertaining show is performed live on stage by
veteran stage actor Richard Garey. It is coming to Indiana Academy March 15-17, 2008.
An Entertainment Experience
Experience a live encounter with the amazing man from Hannibal in this spectacular stage show. You will
laugh along with Tom Sawyer and catch a glimpse of America through the eyes of Huckleberry Finn. This is
great theater chock full of hilarious comedy and heartwarming drama every word from the pen of Mark
Twain. This rowdy slice of Americana recreates the famous Mark Twain road shows of 100 years ago. It is
truly a riot of Twain mischief and mayhem.
Academy Benefit Performance
All for a good cause, this show benefits Indiana Academy’s Junior Class. Students will be selling individual
and group tickets and looking for business sponsors. Come join us for this fun weekend.
Professional Show
Richard Garey has performed his one-man shows in over 40 states and Canada but now makes Hannibal,
Missouri, his home base. Heritage Stage Productions is renovating the historic Planters Barn (circa 1849)
in historic Hannibal where Mr. Garey performs for audiences from all over the world. This show is
appropriate for the entire family. Tickets are $20 per person and a great entertainment value. Please call
