About The Actor

Richard Garey is originally from Jackson, TN but now lives full time in
Hannibal, MO. He established Heritage Stage Productions in 2002. He
has a masters degree in English from James Madison University and has
been acting for about 40  years.

Mr. Garey is an actor, director, and playwright. However the title he likes
best is actor. He feels he does his best work in front of a live audience. All
of the shows listed on this site have been written or compiled by Garey
himself. He takes great pride in their historical accuracy.

He purchased the Planters Barn Theater in 2003 and when he's not doing
shows there he travels the country, and sometimes the world, performing
and loving every minute of it.
